I am a wildlife and nature photographer. I have a huge passion for all living creatures and capturing their beauty. I was born and raised near Detroit, Michigan. After I graduated from The University of Michigan with a degree in Communications, I moved to the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii. This is where I spent 22 years developing my love for photography. During that time, I was lucky enough to get married and have three amazing children. In my free time I volunteered with numerous wildlife organizations. I spent many years guarding sea turtle nests (hawksbill and green) for Hawaii Wildlife Fund and the US Fish & Wildlife Department. I also volunteered with NOAA for multiple years where I was able to work with Hawaiian monk seals and I assisted in two mass whale strandings. In 2021 I moved to Florida and now live amongst more wildlife than I could have ever imagined. I shoot with a Nikon D90 (a dinosaur nowadays) because I believe it’s the best! Unless I’m underwater- then it’s my Olympus TG6. I am honored to have you view my work. I hope you love it!
